Songtsam Padma Pu'er Hotel

Songtsam's Padma Pu'er Hotel is hidden in subtropical flora in the Northern Wetland Park in Pu'er. It is the lowest-altitude hotel of Songtsam, at about 1,300 meters above sea level. Located in the birthplace of Pu'er tea and on the path of the Ancient Tea-Horse Road, the Padma is an essential destination on the Songtsam Ancient Tea-Horse Road expedition. Using wood as the primary material, the construction maintains the traditional Songtsam style while incorporating the features of the subtropical monsoon environment; the building blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, creating the sense of a naturally rustic home. Pu'er boasts a wealth of local ingredients, characterized by distinctive culinary flavors and cooking techniques. In addition to seasonal dishes developed from local ingredients, there is a wide variety of desserts and snacks. On the drink list, creative coffees such as Lemongrass Lime Americano, Passion Pineapple Americano, Coconut Green Americano and Coconut Cloud Latte are infused with the most alluring local fragrance. Coffee and tea, two of the world's top drinks, coexist cleverly in the magical land of Pu'er, and the hotel has carefully built a wooden tea room for families. The hotel has 25 rooms - garden view deluxe rooms, wetland park view deluxe rooms, one-bedroom suites and two-bedroom suites - facing the hotel garden and the lush green landscape of the Northern Wetland Park, each with a private balcony. The Northern Wetland Park is a vibrant oasis in the city reflecting Pu'er's biodiversity. In the adjacent Orchid Garden, guests can observe 64 kinds of orchids along with other rare, endemic and endangered plants. A nature walk through the wetland park reveals bayberry trees by the roadside, lotus flowers and Grey-headed Swamphens in the ponds. The Yunnan Coffee Trading Center next to the hotel is the largest coffee trading center in China. The first floor holds the front hall, bar and restaurant: 55 seats indoors and 45 outdoors by the pool. Surrounding the swimming pool is a resting platform, with a 42-square-meter wooden tea house on the left amid the hotel garden.
