Red Wine Dinner Event at Songtsam Lodge Cizhong

At Songtsam Lodge Cizhong, the first winery lodge in the Songtsam family, creative Western food paired with the lodge's own wines is the main attraction. The Red Wine Dinner Event builds a menu around those estate wines, weaving in special ingredients from the Three Parallel Rivers region such as rainbow trout from Tacheng and black truffles from Gongshan. Wine is folded into the cooking itself — in sauces and seasonings for steak, foie gras, salads, even ice cream — pairing fresh local produce with the village's French-rooted viticulture to build flavors found nowhere else. It is a fitting tribute to a valley where Catholic missionaries planted vines beside the Lancang River more than a century ago.
