Incense-Making Workshop at Songtsam Linka Shangri-la

Craft your own cone incense from pure Tibetan herbs in the Meditation Room at Songtsam Linka Shangri-la. Tibetan incense is traditionally hand-blended from highland plants such as juniper, sandalwood and medicinal herbs and is burned for calming, purification and prayer in homes and monasteries across the plateau. Guided by the lodge team, you measure and mix the aromatic ingredients, then shape and dry your own cones to take home, learning the meaning each fragrance carries in daily Tibetan life.
