The 'Ride the Ridge' series of e-motorbike off-road adventures departs from Songtsam Linka Shangri-la with four graded routes across the open plateau around Napa Lake. Trailblazer (beginner, ¥598, 9:30-16:30) rides mountain trails behind the hills and soft alpine meadows in the plateau sunshine. Over the Ridge (intermediate, ¥998, departures 10:00/13:30/15:30) crosses grasslands where cattle and horses roam and climbs for panoramic views of Songzanlin Monastery and Lamuyangcuo Lake. Valley Warrior (advanced, ¥1698, departures 9:00/13:00) weaves narrow mountain trails overlooking Napa Lake toward snow-capped peaks and the Degong Pasture. Ride to Mount Abuji (expert, ¥3000, departure 9:00) follows pastures and high ridges with distant views of the sacred mountains — a motorcycle license and off-road experience are required for this route. Riding quiet electric machines, you cover ground that walking never could while keeping the alpine wetland's calm intact. Participants must be 16 or older and reserve at least half a day in advance.
